Dara Kristen Hayes, more commonly known as Tigerlily, took the centre stage and made her way into the DJ-ing industry in 2011 at the young age of 19 years old.
Since then, Tigerlily has performed all over the globe including stages and festivals in Canada, USA, Asia, Australia and Europe to crowds of over tens of thousands.
An inspiring approach to life also comes with this Australian performer, having been voted Australia’s favourite female DJ for the third time in a row.
Tigerlily makes it a priority to not only appreciate her fans but to also appreciate Mother Nature.
Being a proud vegan and advocate for mental health, she embraces all the beauty that earth has to offer and how grateful we all should be to walk amongst each other.
The now 25-year-old musician/artist/ambassador/adventurer/vegan and “good vibes machine” enjoys fundraisers and is proud to invite her fans to also impact change.
Tigerlily successfully completed a 42 Kilometer marathon in New York in 2016 for the Australian suicide prevention charity Lifeline. “It’s a funny feeling when your body is just telling you to stop, that it isn’t fun anymore,” she says. “I was really hurting but I got through it.”
Though Tigerlily has made her groundbreaking stardom on the stage, her message is a lot more powerful than that and she hopes to encourage love and light to all her “Team Tigers” through daily social media messages.
“That is part of the reason why I am so passionate about mental health, especially for young people. Because there is light at the end of the tunnel and there is hope.”
