'Unity' is our LGBTI+ allies and employee network, and plays an essential role in driving workplace inclusion and has emerged as a significant voice for the LGBTI+ engagement within the Bank and the communities we serve.

In 2018 the CommBank was honoured to be awarded the Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI)’s Platinum Employer status at the Australian LGBTI Inclusion Awards in recognition of five years of high performance for LGBTI workplace inclusion.

Unity was also awarded LGBTI Network of the Year in 2016 & 2017 as assessed against AWEI criteria, with our network having firmly entrenched itself within CommBank in every Australian state and territory, as well as in the US, UK, New Zealand and Hong Kong.

Every day we’re working hard to create a better bank for our people, our customers and the community, and that includes ensuring we create an environment where all our people can bring their whole selves to work.
